被災された方が東京飯田橋のセントラユースホテルに30人ほど滞在なさっていました。
レスキュージャパンはゴールデンピースオブピラミッドと協力して冷蔵庫を2台、日持ちのする食料を提供、また2ヶ月近くにわたって1週間に2回、新鮮な果物と野菜をお届けしました。
またスポーツインストラクターの方にもお願いし、フィットネスのプログラムも実施しました。こちらに滞在していた方はすべて7月15日までに退室、公団や他の宿泊先などに移っていきます。
ユースホテルのスタッフの方から、本当に真摯に被災者の方のために出来ることをしたいという気持ちが伝わってきました。スタッフの方、本当にありがとうございました
Approx 30 victims have been staying at Tokyo Central Youth Hostel in Iidabashi, Tokyo. Rescue Japan and another NGO (GPOP) have donated 2 fridges and non-perishable food, and arranged fresh fruits and vegetables delivered twice a week for the last 2 months. A group of sport instructors were also arranged to give fitness programs at the hostel.
All the victims are leaving by July 15th and moving to other temporary housing facilities in Tokyo.
The Tokyo Central Youth Hostel staff members were a tremendous help to us in making the arrangement to allow us to help the victims that were staying there. On behalf of the staff at Rescue Japan we send our sincere thanks to them.
